At a glance

The Group One Platinum Card is a retail card made for repairing bad credit and is one of the better cards for no credit score at all. It requires no credit check, so you can easily apply no matter what shape your score is in. Moreover, the lack of APRs and a $750 credit limit* makes payments on the card simple and manageable. You can use it to purchase a variety of items through the Horizon Outlet, improve your credit, and access member benefits like legal services and discounts on prescriptions.

Our review of the Group One Platinum Card

The Group One Platinum Card stands out from traditional retail cards as it offers an unsecured line of credit instead of a standard credit card. This means no refundable security deposit is required, making it accessible to a wider range of individuals. Rather than focusing on cash back or points, this card is designed to help cardholders build their credit scores. With no credit or employment check needed for approval, anyone can take advantage of the 0% interest and membership benefits for a small monthly fee.

However, it’s important to note that there is a $750 credit limit* and the card can only be used at the Horizon Outlet online store. This limitation may not suit everyone’s spending needs.

Who Can Benefit from a Merchandise Card?

If you have limited or no credit history and are looking to improve your credit score, a merchandise card from Horizon Card Services can be a valuable tool. It provides an opportunity to build credit while offering limited purchasing options.

No Credit Check or Employment Check Required

The BOOST Card offers successful applicants a merchandise credit line for use at the Horizon Outlet. What sets this card apart is the lack of hard inquiries when applying, making it a popular choice for credit builders. Horizon does not require a credit check or employment check for approval. However, an active U.S. credit card, debit card, or checking/savings account is required.
